What Kind of Trader Are You?

One of the many ways that companies on Wall Street make money is through stock and forex trading. Fortunately, this doesn’t have to be something that is only for individuals on Wall Street. People living on Main Street can make money through trading as well. But first, it’s important to understand what type of trader you are and if needed, to make sure that you’ve got enough the skills needed to be successful.

I recently came across a quiz on TradingAcademy.com that I thought was clever and helpful. This quiz walked me through a few questions to help me understand what type of trader I was. You can take the quiz here.

The questions were pretty straightforward and only took me a few minutes to complete. It’s more about who you are and your preferences than any type of knowledge of trading so it’s really great for everyone to complete.

I’ll be honest in that I haven’t done too much trading myself, but I am confident that I can be successful if I dedicate my time to it. Taking courses or learning a bit more about the process can only help. I also think that I’ll be doing some “play” trades for a while to test my results before I go full in with real money.
